The Bordo 6000A Alarm was the first folding lock to sound the alarm, a classic reissued.
In addition to the very secure mechanics that fundamentally distinguish the folding locks in the Bordo range, the Bordo Alarm 6000A was the world's first folding lock to report attempted attacks with 100 dB of sound and send thieves fleeing. This is made possible by the intelligent movement sensor technology 3D Position Detection, which detects the smallest movements in all three dimensions. The sensor technology of the Bordo 6000A Alarm is able to distinguish attacks, such as picking attempts, from small vibrations that are triggered, for example, when the lock is plugged in or by a football - the lock then only emits a short warning tone but does not trigger an alarm. To do this, it has the sturdy bars made of hardened steel as well as the special rivets, which are also made of this steel, and the tried-and-tested Plus disc cylinder, which is picking-resistant.
