WHAT IT IS
As the entry point to our Race Series, the EQUIPE R combines the technology of the EQUIPE RS system with simplified everyday usability.
BEHIND THE PRODUCT
The EQUIPE R is developed based on our proven A-Lock engineering design, which adopts technologies from the WorldTour-proven EQUIPE RS. It maintains the stability of the racingFit fit with a muscle-wrapping butterfly panel and new Type.443 textile that supports and breathes in the same way as the EQUIPE RS, but in a deeper shade of black. A monofilament elastic in the straps reduces weight and dries faster than two-layer models. The shorts still feature our race pad.
WHEN/HOW TO USE IT
The EQUIPE R equips riders with pure speed for both training and racing, while still being suitable for everyday use.
FINER DETAILS
The Type.443 textile is a compressive, abrasion-resistant warp knit that is similar in weight and compressive stability to the Type.441 from our EQUIPE RS series. Extremely breathable and supportive with a deeper, more intense shade of black as well as USF 50+.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT
Our racingFit fit fits like a second skin and creates an aerodynamic silhouette. Micro-fitted shaping wraps around large muscles and provides compressive support with a standard leg length.
ENGINEERING
- zeroPressure Waist: Highly elastic waist design that fits like a second skin while reducing pressure on the abdominal area and other sensitive body parts.
- Ultralight Leg Grippers: Lighter than anything outside the Racing Series, with compressive elastic bands and the protection of a Microdot silicone coating.
- X-Frame: The EQUIPE RS Series' A-shaped frame prevents sagging in the lower back and stabilizes the pad and main body during high-intensity rides.

- Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono 9: Compressive foams in a breathable 9mm race model. A thermoformed cut reduces disruptive transitions and friction.
- 3D Waffle: A patented, three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and has no excess weight.
- goldenGate: A stitch pattern where the front and back are attached, but the padding is free to move - with you instead of against you
