WHAT IT IS
A midweight all-weather jacket with an optimized cut and material for high-intensity off-road riding. Breathable insulation combines with freedom of movement for functionality on trail rides - and also out of the saddle.
BEHIND THE PRODUCT
The STEINADLER is a highly breathable jacket designed for trail riding, with a tighter fit and increased breathability than the STEPPENWOLF Jacket T3 and a more durable, windproof textile than the MILLE GT Wind Jacket C2. It is also equipped with our new Water & Mud Shield Tec coating to keep the rider dry and prevent the build-up of weight from moisture on the outside. When the jacket is not needed, the STEINADLER can be stowed in its own pocket with low packing volume.
WHEN/HOW TO USE IT
The versatile STEINADLER is a protective layer against wind, light precipitation and splashing water during high-intensity rides on gravel and single-trail trails. Its cut also allows it to be worn over layers that overlay the skin, or over any jersey or under a shell.
FINER DETAILS
Our Domino textile adds a Speedy fabric lining to the front, shoulders and extended collar for tear-resistant, windproof protection and provides a velvety feel with integrated odorControl technology around the neck. The back and sleeves are crafted from Type.OF11 high stretch textile to help the rider maintain a slim silhouette - inspired by our road bike line. Both main fabrics have been treated with our Water & Mud Shield Tec coating to protect against mud, water on the trails and splashing. The entire jacket offers USF 50+ UV protection.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT
Our optimized TRAIL cut conforms to the body for complete freedom of movement in and out of the saddle. The jacket is rounded out with an extended collar that provides extra protection without interfering when wearing headgear.
ENGINEERING
- Water & Mud Shield Tec: A new technology designed for trail riding that protects against water and mud, prevents stains and actively wicks away internal moisture.
- Secure Pockets: Two zippered pockets provide secure storage and ensure that you can quickly access your most important bike accessories. Waterproof thanks to sealing.
