WHAT IT IS
Minimalist, super-lightweight liner shorts with our new, less-tight Sport Touring pad, a fit with more support and an ultra-lightweight, ultra-breathable textile.
BEHIND THE PRODUCT
The new Sport Touring TRAIL TACTICA liner shorts are designed for less intense rides: Bike touring, the bike park, e-bikes and commuting. Designed with minimal weight and ultimate breathability for practical everyday use, they fit seamlessly under any pants. The waist design and leg cuffs are the same as our more rugged TACTICA HP Liner Shorts, wrapping the waist and thighs with a slightly compressive hold. The minimalist OFF-ROAD ST T3 insert is 33% thinner than the high-performance model of our TACTICA HP T3 liner shorts, but its dual-layer design eliminates micro-vibration and absorbs shocks and major jolts.
WHEN/HOW TO USE IT
The first layer of the TRAIL TACTICA system, effectively combined with the outer layers of the TACTICA series or the MILLE GTC ZEPPELIN cargo shorts for all off-road riding.
FINER DETAILS
The Airflow.1299 textile in jersey liner is the lightest of our TACTICA liner materials and incredibly cooling and extremely breathable. The zigzag design reinforces the airy mesh fabric and gives it more stability. This material is too light to wear without an overtrousers.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT
A skin-tight fit for a barely noticeable layer under TACTICA cargo gear. We created a unique fabric construction to prevent friction against the skin. The standard leg length provides more protection between the skin and the outer layers.
ENGINEERING
- zeroPressure Waist: A soft, elastic waist design for even more comfort and support around the waist without applying pressure or restricting.
- Superlight Leg Grippers: Elastic band incorporated into the slightly compressive leg cuffs for secure support without constricting.
OFF-ROAD ST T3 Insert
- Shock-Absorb Damping Mono 6: The compressive foam layers whose thickness we have reduced to a minimalist 6 mm for more upright riding positions. A thermoformed cut reduces annoying transitions and friction.
- 3D Waffle: A patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability, has no excess weight and provides shock absorption.
- goldenGate 2.0: Padding is attached front and back, with movable pads on the sides and center - for movement with you instead of against you. New cutouts on the sides reduce volume and friction with each pedal stroke.
