Description
This is where our classic Italian steel frame meets 21st century American technology. The Hook Rival AXS uses the same double-butted Columbus Cromor frame as the EXT, but also has a wireless electronic 12-speed drivetrain from Sram. With the smaller 10-44 cassette and a direct-mount 38 chainring, you'll be even faster on singletrack sections and can still have a laugh on technical climbs. The MGV fork from Seido offers plenty of mud clearance for grippy WTB 2.0" Ranger tires, which sit on wide rims for more grip. Sram's Rival hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotor on the front will bring you back down to earth if you go a little too far on the descents. Get the map out, open Komoot, plan a route with your friends, load up and ride.
