The BREX function in detail
.BREX, the true, street-legal brake light and emergency stop light function.
If the integrated BREX sensors detect a negative acceleration and thus a braking process, the taillight lights up many times brighterand more conspicuous. Following traffic understands immediately: ATTENTION, THE BICYCLE WILL SLOW DOWN!
In the event of emergency braking, the light also pulses extremely conspicuously - highest warning level. In such a braking situation, following traffic can usually only act instinctively. The impressive, visual emergency braking pulse of BREX can trigger such immediate reactions and prevent bad accidents.
Tail lights with BREX are permissible according to the latest StVZO and shine significantly brighter during braking than previously approved tail lights with delay light.
