Shimano Pedaling Dynamics (SPD)
The Shimano Pedaling Dynamics System, SPD for short, is very popular and widespread. Here, the "Cleat" is integrated into the shoe, so that you can run reasonably with the bike shoe despite the mounting plate. The SPD technology is mainly used for mountain biking and trekking.
