Description
Made from high-quality full-grain leather the Metractive D-WP is the waterproof motorcycle shoe for use in different weather conditions and in different situations throughout the day, whether riding or walking.
Its light weight makes it suitable for long-term use, which indicates its high level of comfort.
The focus on comfort is combined with safety thanks to the reinforcements on the heel and ankle, which increase stability and protection. The asymmetrical Groundtrax®soles have been developed for optimum comfort, stability, grip and traction both on and off the saddle. The soles are designed so that they cannot deform in the event of an impact.
The practical zipper on the side makes it easy to put them on. The Ortholite® insole guarantees maximum breathability and long-lasting cushioning.
D-WP MATERIAL
D-WP is a material developed exclusively for footwear that guarantees maximum comfort in all weathers. Products developed with D-WP technology offer excellent waterproofing and water-repellent properties. The specific structure of the material and the special surface treatments guarantee excellent performance. D-WP textiles are subjected to rigorous tests to simulate the reaction of the products to different weather conditions and different stresses.
ORTHOLITE® CUSHIONING FOOTBED
Dainese footwear is equipped with an OrthoLite® footbed, which guarantees maximum comfort and stretchability in all conditions. The OrthoLite® foam is compressed by less than 5% of its thickness throughout the life of the footbed, so cushioning, fit, comfort and performance do not change. In addition, the open cells of the OrthoLite® foam allow air to circulate in and around the footbed so that moisture is wicked away and the foot stays cool and dry for longer.
GROUNDTRAX® OUTSOLES
The Groundtrax® outsoles have been developed to ensure stability, grip and traction both on the footrests and on the road. Thanks to the design of the lugs and grooves and the choice of rubber compound, wear resistance and self-cleaning of the tread are maximized. The soles have an asymmetrical design, especially in the shifting and braking areas, to ensure greater precision while riding.
