Halo SAS 24 inch rim for disc and V-Brake - black
Description
The SAS is the further development of the competition-proven Combat rim. The ultimate BSX, Downhill and Jump rim is available with 32, 36 or 48 spoke holes. The SAS rim is made of a heat-treated T-10 alloy and is the first choice for those looking for a reliable and robust mountain bike rim for all purposes.
The anodized versions of our SAS rims can also be used with rim brakes. Of course, the anodized finish will wear off and reveal the silver aluminum. Since the braking surface is not CNC machined, there is a break-in period.
Rim brakes should not be used on the white powdercoated version.
