The Ruut range was born out of a need to have a truly versatile bike. One that is comfortable enough for backpacking and long distance rides, but at the same time has a distinctly sporty character. At Rondo, they're all competitive riders - they go fast, they race - but they don't need a bike for the CX World's. What Rondo want from a drop bar bike is that it can go long and go fast, especially on rough roads. After more than two years of development, they've created a tool they believe is the ultimate solution for real-world riders.
From asphalt to trail
The RUUT AL1 is the most versatile bike in the collection. It is a hardcore commuter, training partner, adventure seeker and cyclocross racer all in one. The RUUT AL1 features a lightweight yet bombproof frame, a Selle Italia Model X saddle for comfort on rough terrain, a bombproof drivetrain, and all the fenders, racks, and luggage mounts a rider needs. This bike is equipped with a TwinTip fork with FLY technology. A lighter, horizontally stiffer and more compliant edition of the brand fork. The internal cable routing provides a clean look. Versatile and reliable 700 X 40 Pirelli Gravel tires provide excellent grip on a variety of terrain. This bike is the perfect companion for spontaneous explorations between asphalt and trail.
