Assioma DUO-Shi is compatible with the following Shimano - pedal bodies: PD-R8000, PD-R7000, PD-6800, PD-R550 and PD-R540.
Increased Q-factor?
The Q-factor of the Assioma Look® version is +54 mm, while that of the Assioma DUO-Shi is +64 mm with the PD-R7000/R550/R540 pedal bodies and +65 mm with the PD-R8000/6800 pedal bodies. Despite initial concerns about increasing the Q-factor, we decided to continue with the project as body size (height, pelvic width, etc.) is a subjective factor that helps determine the best Q-factor for each of us. Final, positive feedback from our beta testers finally validated the product.
Easy to install.
Install and transfer your Assioma from one bike to another just like normal pedals, easily and without additional tools. Simply screw them onto the crank arms of your bike and you're ready to ride!
IAV Cycling Dynamics
Assioma supports the advanced IAV Cycling Dynamics measurement data: IAV Power Phase and IAV Rider Position. These measurement data, in combination with the classic power data, enable a detailed analysis of pedaling technique and the influence of the cyclist's position on the bike on performance.
IAV Power and Gyroscope
In contrast to others, Assioma's measurements are not influenced by errors due to very irregular pedaling (e.g. sprinting uphill) or the use of oval chainrings. This is because Assioma is able to detect the actual instantaneous angular velocity of the pedal stroke, giving you an accuracy of ±1% in any situation. Not just in the lab.
Bluetooth and ANT+ SMART
Assioma communicates via Bluetooth and ANT+ with bike computers and smartphones, both Android and iOS.
Real bilateral performance data
Assioma DUO provides bilateral data through real measurements: They are taken individually on the left and right legs; this makes it possible to accurately observe not only overall power, but also L/R balance, torque effectiveness (TE), pedal smoothness (PS), etc.
Assioma provides accurate wattage measurements with great consistency and stability under actual road use conditions and at any temperature between -10 °C and 60 °C. Also thanks to the ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation).
Waterproof, resistant and lightweight
The power sensors are protected in a two-component resin block, extremely shock-resistant and completely waterproof.
Rechargeable and environmentally friendly
Assioma is the only pedal-based power meter with integrated rechargeable batteries; a single charge ensures at least 50 hours of use.
