Inspired by the tears and triumphs of cycling's greats, the Tempo Overcurve R4 Series road shoes offer powerful performance from cobblestone to asphalt. Behind the Overcurve R4's signature aesthetic is advanced construction technology: a resilient, polyurethane-laminated material is combined with a comfortable mesh, reducing energy loss and providing lasting foot support where it's needed most. The BOA IP1 shoe closure is fast, reliable and secure. The Overcurve shoe construction features an offset collar that wraps around the ankle along your natural alignment. The result is an asymmetrical shape where the neck of the shoe curves inward over your foot from the outside. The moderately stiff R4 outsole balances comfort and pedaling efficiency, making it a true all-rounder. It features a lower profile that is structurally optimized with a 15% carbon fiber composition. The R4 outsole also offers efficient ventilation with internal channeling for effective temperature regulation. The cleat is positioned slightly further towards the heel compared to traditional placement to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce knee compression. This is particularly suitable for aggressively pushing aero riding positions.
