The RIDECONTROL DASH features the new Smart Gateway (SG), a newly developed communication interface. Since Smart Gateway uses new firmware and cable management, it is NOT backward compatible with MY20 e-bikes as well as MY21 e-bikes that do not have the Smart Gateway system.
