Gusset XD 1-ER Singlespeed Kit
Description
The XD 1-ER kit was developed from our vision that riders with XD freewheel hubs might want to switch to singlespeed without buying a new hub. We got into the singlespeed market early and know that riders are still looking for simple and elegant solutions to make their bike work in all conditions.
The XD 1-ER kit utilizes the spline and threaded XD freewheel body and is easy to install. Depending on the orientation of the included 3mm spacer, it offers a 49mm or 51mm chainline. Riding a modern SRAM bike with a singlespeed has never been easier.
The sprocket teeth are designed for a narrow 3/32''-9-speed chain, although wider 1/8''-single-speed chains can be used successfully.
It is recommended that a new chain be installed, as a used chain is likely to be worn and may not mate well with the fresh, unridden sprocket.
