H Plus Son SL42 700c - Black
Description
The H+Son SL42 700c is the original 42 mm high rim that took over a year to develop. Like the Formation Face, the SL42 owes its stiffness and aerodynamics to the 42 mm profile height.
The two models have the same low weight, which has been reduced to approximately 615 grams (give or take 15 grams) by using the G609 aluminum alloy. This alloy is also 30 percent stronger than the 6061 aluminum alloy used in the manufacture of standard rims. The SL42 has a machined sidewall for use with rim brakes.
