Description
The GXR offers minimal rolling resistance in the center of the tread and maximum grip on the sides of the tread so it provides more speed and grip in equal measure. Using a 60TPI Tubeless Ready casing, the GXR is lightweight and reliable. This special casing not only allows the tire to adapt to the terrain for grip and comfort, but it also deflects much of the potential damage from objects on the trail. Halo's designers incorporated leading edges into the center of the tread to ensure traction under braking and acceleration in all conditions, while maintaining a flush rolling surface, this means that the leading edges are only used in wet or off-road conditions. In dry conditions and on smooth surfaces, the tyre rolls with minimum resistance. The side tread pattern offers a combination of widely spaced and purposefully placed blocks. Combined with the optimized sipe structure, the aggressive side profile of the GXR offers tremendous grip level that is there when it is needed most. To make this a true all-weather tire, angled mud and water drainage channels have also been incorporated into the shoulder tread.
