Description
Minimal rolling resistance and maximum comfort are the primary goals of the RXR tire. Using a 60TPI tubeless casing, the RXR is lightweight and reliable. The casing not only allows the tire to adapt to the terrain for grip and comfort, but it also deflects much of the potential damage from objects on the road or trail. The designers at Hope incorporated leading edges into the center of the tread to ensure traction under braking and acceleration in all conditions, while maintaining a flush rolling surface. This means that leading edges are only used in wet or off-road conditions. In dry conditions and on smooth surfaces, the tyre rolls with minimal resistance. To make this a truly capable road-plus tire for all conditions, angled mud and water resistant channels have also been incorporated into the shoulder tread. The rubber compound in the center is slightly firmer to increase rolling speed and durability. The softer rubber compound at the edges combined with the wide tread width means grip is maximized when you really need it.
