Hope XCR Pro E4 disc brake - silver
Description
The lightest brake from Hope now offers even more customization options. No matter which mount your frame/fork has.
Following the discontinuation of the Hope Race brake, here comes its successor, the new lightweight XC disc brake with carbon brake lever and titanium bolts. For longevity, it comes anodized and milled in typical Hope style.
Hope has added the E4 brake caliper to the XCR range, which improves performance and adds a downcountry touch.
This means that the XCR brake is now suitable for a range of options, from cross-country race bikes to more demanding trail bikes.

XCR Pro
The minimal, radially positioned master cylinder retains our simple bleeding process with its conventional reservoir, but still offers reach adjustment and a new folding handlebar clamp for light weight and easy installation. The lever bushings provide reduced friction and super-light leverage, finished off with a carbon lever.

E4
The E4 caliper uses hybrid stainless steel pistons with a phenolic insert. This allows for smoother movement and less maintenance, while being able to handle high temperatures without heat transfer under extreme use. The racing pads are included in the scope of delivery. They are designed to deliver impressive performance right out of the box and require little break-in time; they are also more durable than conventional organic pads.
