ION K-Pact Select Knee/Shin Guards - Black
Description
ION's Tectonic Fit construction principle allows unprecedented freedom of movement while providing optimal knee and shin protection: The main components of the protector, i.e. the knee and shin elements, are only connected to each other at the sides of the knee joint. This allows these elements to slide over each other like tectonic plates when pedaling in the front area. The protector always stays close to the leg and does not slip. This means that enduro and all-mountain riders can now also enjoy full knee-shin protection, which was otherwise reserved for downhillers: In the front knee area, the padding of the German manufacturer SAS-TEC provides outstanding damping properties (the same material has already been used for years in the field of motorcycle protective clothing). The shin is protected from painful pedal slips by HD Memory Foam. Asymmetrically placed EVA side pads protect the knee joint from impacts against the top tube as well as side impacts.
