Description
With the new DBX 5.0, Leatt raise the bar for helmet safety to entirely new heights. The DBX 5.0 was specifically designed to protect the brain and prevent concussions and their devastating long-term consequences. At the heart of this is the revolutionary 360° Turbine Technology, which is a moving elastomeric buffer inside the helmet that specifically slows impacts and rotations to protect the head and brain, and ultimately drastically reduce the risk of concussion. The shell and EPS interior of the DBX 5.0 have been hooked together in a V-shape using a 3D In-Mold process. This special construction allows even high G-forces to be slowed down more specifically than ever before they can cause any damage. An optimized, smaller overall volume of the shell reduces additional forces, especially in the neck area. A sophisticated ventilation system with 16 large Air Vents, provides the driver even at low speed always with cooling fresh air. The whole thing is of course optimized for use with Leatt's Neckbraces.

Zum Negativen: Kein Schnellverschluss des Kinnbandes! Das Band wird mühsam durch 2 Metallringe befestigt...Frechheit für einen so teuren Helm! Bei der Lieferung war die mittlere Plastikschraube welche das Visier befestigen soll gebrochen! Ersatzschrauben befinden sich dabei jedoch sollte es so nicht vorkommen!
