Maxxis Assegai WT Folding Tire - 29x2.50 Inch - 3C MaxxGrip DD TR
Description
After more than two years of development, the Maxxis Assegai is finally here! Greg Minnaar's signature tires is the essence of his 30 years of racing experience and Maxxis' expert knowledge from over 50 years of tire production.
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there's no tube, the risk of punctures goes down, too. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tubeless tire. This makes tubeless mounting on all rims with standard dimensions already successful with the first inflation and with little liquid. Also "normal" Maxxis MTB tires can be mounted tubeless with sealant like tires of other manufacturers, because the carcass fabrics are very dense. Officially approved for tubeless mounting and guaranteed by Maxxis are but only the new Maxxis TR models.

"Der Reifen mit dem besten Grip am Markt"
erkauft wird das aber mit ordentlich Rollwiderstand (Maxx Gip...) und gewicht. die DD und DH Versionen sind um 1300g.
Perfekt wäre eine EVO+ Karkasse und damit um 1100g. Dann gibts 10 Punkte
