Description
With its completely new tread design, the Minion DHR II is the ideal tire for aggressive gravity riding. With the side lugs of the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it has extreme cornering grip. The center lugs have beveled lugs for better acceleration. Notches on the lugs improve transition when turning into corners. Part of the center lugs have a paddle shape, they dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control.
3C Maxx Terra: The freeride version of Maxxis' 3C tires. Significantly more grip and traction due to softer compounds, with acceptable rolling resistance, so you can still get a good ride up the mountain before the great descent, and long life.
DoubleDown: DoubleDown tires are built the same way Maxxis' downhill tires are built. With two carcass layers and a butyl insert in the sidewall it has also been reinforced, by the 2 carcass layers and an aramid bead with 120 TPI (instead of 60TPI) this model is even lighter than all other downhill tires, more stable and robust than the Maxxis EXO+TR tire therefore also optimal for hard enduro courses.
Tubeless Ready: Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure and thus have better traction.
