Description
The Rekon is a fast rolling XC trail tire inspired by the Ikon, our most popular XC tire. Medium-duty and technical terrain are its home. Wide center lugs provide good control under braking and acceleration. L-shaped side lugs give secure grip in turns, even on loose surfaces. The Rekon has all the assets to become as popular as the Ikon.
3C Maxx Speed: The fastest 3C mixture for XC and some AllMountain / Enduro tires is designed by the hard base and the fast mixture in tread center on lowest rolling resistance, but offers with the grippy mixture on the sides to it still superior grip in curves, even in wet conditions. Typical MAXXIS is also the very long life.
The EXO Protection, consisting of extremely cut and abrasion resistant material, protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. This keeps the performance of the tires unchanged convincingly good.
