Description
Based on the Velocita tubular tire for the road bike, the developers at Maxxis for the Velocita AR (All-Road) have taken the familiar profile design and widened. The diamond tread in the center of the tire transitions to a siped tread at the edges, which brings safety and stability when cornering. Riders looking for a lightweight, fast-rolling, high-volume slick tire for their gravel or do-it-all bike should strike at the Velocita AR.
With the Dual Compound compound, two different rubber compounds are processed into one tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the desired properties of the tires.
Exo Protection: This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. Thus, the performance of the tires remains unchanged convincingly good.
