29" - RUNNING WHEELS
29 inch is the clear choice at Laufey for long, fast rides on a variety of terrain with the best possible versatility. Wide 2.6" tires provide a larger contact area for more grip. More knobs touch the ground at any given time, providing better cornering and more stopping power.
ORBEA HYDROFORMED ALUMINIUM
We optimize the shapes and wall thicknesses of our aluminum tubes to strengthen them and reduce unwanted flex. Many of the tubes are tapered toward the center. This allows us to save weight in the less stressed areas of the frame.
Through aluminum technology as advanced as our carbon manufacturing, we guarantee that our aluminum bikes are never second choice.
RELIABILITY
The Laufey was designed for plenty of action. Without sacrificing frame weight savings, we aimed for added durability in a bike that will take a lot of punishment. Compressed hydroforming tubes lead to the needed resistance.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
Cables and cables are routed through the frame in the most sensible way and without rubbing or rattling behind the head tube.
PROVED CHAIN STREET JOIN
To achieve maximum tire stand and strength, we have developed a proprietary welded chainstay yoke with CNC finishing to ensure the most precise specifications.
