Bike for big tours
The RS concept gives you a great day on the trails. Because low weight, lower energy consumption and a support adapted to the power input of the driver increase the endurance of the battery to more than one and a half times.
Slim and expandable
To conventional e-bikes, displays, sensors, extra cables and big switches and buttons are unavoidable standard. But for us, the look and feel of a classic, clean bike was a very central part of the RS philosophy.
The lightest in its class
RS motor, battery and electronics are more than half lighter than other e-bike systems. RS describes a new philosophy where Orbea understands power, range, the controls and weight as an integrated system. With its sleek, reduced and integrated appearance without clunky parts, it lets you forget about time and experience the trail and the ride even more intensely.
The unique Shimano EP8 RS
For quite some time Orbea was looking for the best solution. So when Shimano released the plans for its new EP8 motor, they knew right away: this exceptional motor would provide the perfect platform to implement the RS Power concept. Working closely together, Orbea took care of developing its own electronics and batteries, while Shimano customized its EP8 motor to run perfectly with its own RS firmware.

The aesthetics of simplicity
Many athletes spend hours upon hours trying to make their bike just that little bit lighter, eliminate annoying noises, or correct visual blemishes. The benefits of bike computers and smartphones are undeniable, yet many athletes don't want to bolt an oversized display to their handlebars or top tube.
OMR frames
OMR frames combine high-modulus, high-strength carbon fibers with a standard layup to optimize the stiffness-to-weight ratio. The use of the so-called bladder molding process with EPS molds and polyurethane (PU) inserts on the head tube and bottom bracket avoids wrinkles and bumps in critical areas of the frame. At the same time, carbon can be saved without compromising the strength of the frame.
