Description
The DF-1 dummy is an indispensable companion for all scenarios where the fork needs to be removed from the bike. It allows for complete removal of the fork while keeping the handlebars, stem, spacers, bearings and caliper organized. The DF-1 installs into the headset and is held in place via the bike's stem. The brake mount features threaded and unthreaded holes for mounting disc calipers as well as most rim calipers, while the included pad spacer protects hydraulic disc brakes from accidental compression. The DF-1 is nickel-plated and powder-coated for long life.
- The brake bracket features M5, M6 and through holes for mounting all disc brake mounting styles as well as most rim caliper types.
- 1-1/8'' steerer with star nut to secure top cap and spacers
- 2'' flare cone for compatibility with tapered steerer tubes
- NOTE: Compatible with 1-1/8'''' threadless steerer tubes only - not compatible with threaded steerer tube setups.
