The Monarch grip is the result of decades of downhill experience and an 18-month development process. In those 18 months, we asked over 1,000 people about their grip likes and dislikes, tested countless grips and even set up our own in-house 3D printing and molding workshop to spend hundreds of hours testing and refining the smallest details - down to the last 0.25 mm - seriously!
Properties:
- Two sizes: Thin (30-32 mm) and Thick (32-34 mm)
- Soft 20A rubber compound for the best compromise between grip and durability
- The tapered & asymmetrical grip body provides plenty of cushioning and comfort on the top while ensuring maximum grip and feel on the bottom
- The thumb rest in "zigzag" design offers maximum pressure relief for the thumb
- The finger ridges are cut deep into the grip to ensure maximum grip and feel for the handlebars
- The tapered grip core, which is made from 80% recycled ocean plastic, adapts perfectly to the handlebars and prevents the grip from twisting on the handlebar ends
- The half flange on the inside and "pinky" ramp for the little finger on the outside let you recognize the two ends of the grip
- The grips offer 130 mm of gripping surface and are attached with slim 8 mm wide locking rings
- Replaceable locking rings made from anodized aluminium
