COMPOUND - SMARTEVO
The new SmartEVO compound uses a blend of three different polymers each of which contributes its own particular property, yet at the same time guarantees a perfect balance of what are actually opposing properties: the goal for any rubber engineer. To complete this project, Pirelli used its extraordinary experience gained in over 100 years of motorsport and its vast know-how in cycling. Our in-depth knowledge and chemical expertise enabled Pirelli's material engineers and chemists to use this ternary polymer compound in such an advanced way as to ensure the "intelligent" behavior that characterizes the outstanding properties of the SmartEVO compound. Perfect grip whether wet or dry, coupled with low rolling resistance. A performance package suitable for all modern road disciplines and surfaces, from local or World Tour races to epic adventures where climate and road surfaces require tires that perform in all conditions.
