Even lighter and even more elegant - that's the new SchockStop Pro Suspension Stem. Redshift has further optimized the already slim and unobtrusive damping system. The result is a 15 % lighter stem with titanium components and black logos. The damper stiffness remains individually adjustable and comfort remains as high as ever!
No loss of handling, no loss of design, acceptable additional weight
The hardness of the damping can be varied individually. To do this, simply remove the two previously installed plastic dampers and reinstall two of the five supplied dampers. Thanks to the large selection of combinations, everyone can find the perfect damping.
The damping does not restrict riding at the limit. The bike still steers very directly and you still get full power on the pedals when pedaling out of the saddle.
It is also important that the stem does not look any different from "normal" stems. It looks like a stem and therefore adapts very well to the look of a road bike without being "bulky". There are other models on the market that are large and often don't look very good on a road bike.
For many, weight is also a factor: here you can say that the bike doesn't get noticeably heavier with the stem (but noticeably more comfortable).
Two installation angles possible: + 6 degrees and - 6 degrees
Like other stems, the ShockStop Pro stem can also be installed in both directions. Either + 6 degrees upwards or - 6 degrees downwards.
Rule of thumb: For riders with back, neck and/or hand problems, we recommend the + 6 degree position. For someone who would like to ride a low handlebar and has no problems with their neck, the -6 degree position is more suitable. In the end, however, you have to try it out for yourself or, even better, have it professionally determined in a bike fitting (also available from us in Hanover).
Purpose 1: All road cyclists who have problems with sleepy & tingling hands
The ShockStop Pro stems can be a solution for sleepy or tingling hands when riding a road bike
.Many road cyclists struggle with hand problems. A different riding position or padded gloves often help to get the problem under control. However, if you continue to have problems, the ShockStop Pro stem from Redshift Sports could be the perfect solution. The wrists are relieved and shocks are absorbed. The ride becomes much more comfortable. The suspension travel of up to 2 cm can be individually adjusted in hardness (by combining the plastic dampers differently).
And all of this is completely inconspicuous. The damping is not immediately recognizable from the outside, the bike retains its original design.
Application 2: Gravel bikes and Gravelplus bikes

Nowadays, many athletes ride GravelPlus bikes on a wide variety of terrains. They ride their "racing bikes" over hill and dale. With the ShockStop Pro stem, you simply have even more reserves and comfort, especially on rough terrain. Where your arms would otherwise tire quickly, e.g. on rough stone tracks, you can now roll comfortably over them. The result: more range, less fatigue, no more arm and hand problems.
Setting the shock absorber firmness explained in detail
The damping is adjusted using elastic plastic dampers. These are available in five different strengths, all five are included in the scope of delivery and can also be purchased as a 5-pack. Two of the dampers are installed. You can now combine two very soft dampers for very soft damping or, conversely, install two hard dampers for very hard damping. Of course, soft and hard, etc.
This means that the damping can be varied very individually in terms of hardness. The conversion is very simple.

This stem is available in sizes 80, 90, 100, 110 and 120 mm. Simply order the size you are currently riding.
Of course, a bike fitting is even better, where you will be measured on your bike accordingly. If you have problems with your hands, we always recommend a bike fitting (also at our premises in Hanover).
