The Ruut model range was born out of the need to have a truly versatile bike. One that is comfortable enough for backpacking and long distance riding, but at the same time has a definite sporty feel. At Rondo, we're all competitive riders - we go fast, we race - but we don't need a bike for the CX World's. What we want from a drop bar bike is that it can go long and fast, especially on rough roads. After more than two years of development, we've come up with a tool that we think is the ultimate solution for riders in the real world.
The RUUT ST1 is designed for classic riders looking for a reliable and smooth-riding bike for commuting to work or for the weekend. This bike features a high-quality steel frame made of specially formed, heat-treated Tange tubing. The S-shaped seatstays provide superior comfort, while the oval top tube increases compliance in the front. The RUUT ST1 is equipped with our TwinTip 2.0 fork with FLY technology. This is a lighter, more compliant version of our trademark fork that features triple basket mounts. The RUUT ST1 is equipped with the lightweight and reliable 1x11 Sram Rival drivetrain with an 11-42 cassette. A thoughtful option for everyday cycling.
The Rondo RUUT ST1 comes in 2022 with minor spec updates like a new saddle and tires.
