Now with the commanding 29" front wheel and upgraded rear end, it brings even more performance, fun and agility to your trails.
MX wheels
.The MX setup provides the stability and control of the 29er front wheel, while the 27.5" rear wheel provides agility and an active riding style. The perfect mix for lots of off-road fun.
Glovebox
.Pack everything you need under the solid flap in your down tube. The bike comes standard with "Tool Wallet" and "Tube Purse". So everything is safely packed and quickly at hand.
.C AND CC CARBON
.For our carbon frames, we use the best available materials and production processes. And because larger riders cause greater stresses, we adjust the stiffness for each frame size. That's how we ensure that every rider gets the same, perfect ride quality.
Window to the SAG
.A small window makes it easier to tune the rear end. Other nice details include the mudguard that protects the shock from dirt, the neat cable routing in the frame, and the rubberized downtube protector.

The VPP™ system can be optimized for each bike so that the right balance between drive efficiency and rear end performance is always achieved. This means that if it says "VPP™", you can be sure that the rear triangle has been optimized for the exact use for which the bike is built.
.130mm VPP™ suspension travel
.For some it is (too) little travel, for others all they need. With 130mm you do not spring as fast through the roughest stone field, as with our V10 downhill bolide, but as soon as it comes to surf from one corner to another and to collect nippy air miles, trump the 5010.
.Traction and chassis performance
.For the 5010, we wanted to strike a balance between support and grip to improve the bike's downhill capabilities. We started with a significantly lower anti-squat value (compared to the previous generation) for a more sensitive response and less pedal kickback.
Playability and Support
.We gave the 5010's rear triangle a very smooth but strong progression to give the rider plenty of predictable support, bottom-out resistance and a playful response. This means that travel is well utilized, but that hard hits aren't passed on as directly as you'd expect from a short-travel bike.
SRAM Eagle Transmission - more robust, smoother, wireless
You'll find the next generation of SRAM Eagle transmission on our new CC models. It is a radically robust, innovatively integrated and fully self-contained wireless shifting. The full-mount suspension sits directly on the rear axle and creates a much stronger connection with the frame, while the particularly robust rear derailleur offers unprecedented load capacity. Smooth shifting is possible through the combination of X-SYNC technology and cassette mapping even under full load. The new AXS Pods shift levers are extremely ergonomic and highly customizable. This makes shifting easy and intuitive. It is simply the most advanced gear shifting and almost as robust as the mountains themselves.
