The Durano DD is probably the most puncture-proof tyre currently available from Schwalbe. The double ''D'' stands for Double Defence, because Schwalbe's Race Guard technology enables reliable puncture protection for road bikes and is supported in the Durano DD by an additional fabric layer on the tire walls.

"Der passt und läuft gut"
Nachdem in dem auf meinem Rad montierten Continental Ultra Sport II bereits am 2. Tag ein Nagel steckte, bin ich auf die Schwalbe Durano DD umgestiegen. Diese sind zwar geringfügig schwerer als die Continental, dafür aber weitestgehend durchstichsicher. Das Fahrgefühl ist sehr komfortabel, sie rollen gut ab und haben auch den erforderlichen Grip. Von daher habe ich den Umstieg bis jetzt nicht bereut und kann die Schwalbe Durano DD guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen.
