Shimano DEORE MTB M6120 4-piston disc brake I-Spec EV - black
Description
The DEORE M6100 brakes come in two versions - with XC-specific two-piston caliper (BR-M6100)
or with a four-piston caliper for trail/enduro use (BR-M6120). Both variants share the same
revised brake lever (BL-M6100), whose design with additional support on the handlebars provides
a stiffer construction and thus better controllability and higher braking power. For this purpose, the brake levers
are equipped with SHIMANO's proven SERVO WAVE technology, which uses the first part of the lever travel to quickly guide the pads close to
the discs and the second part to provide plenty of lever travel for the actual, powerful and well-controllable braking
operation. For both calipers are optionally available resin or metal pads, with the brake discs come
ideally the models SM-RT64 or SM-RT54 to use.
An optional release lever for retractable seatposts (SL-MT500) completes the DEORE cockpit as desired. This lever
allows you to operate dropper posts without having to loosen the fixed grip on the handlebar. The SL-MT500 is optionally available with a classic clamp or as an I-SPEC EV variant for a clean look.
