Description
The SHIMANO GRX Di2 DUAL CONTROL 2x12-speed shift/brake lever offers fast, wireless shifting for gravel and mixed terrain riding. Thanks to raised horns, a ribbed surface and a non-slip coating, the ergonomic brake lever offers more safety and control. With its new design, the grip is ideal for seamless integration into handlebars with flare without compromising the position of the gravel-specific third button. Three options for satellite switches for the RX825 levers complete the cockpit and offer maximum customization options with their SHIMANO FRONT SHIFT NEXT function.
The GRX BR-R820 disc brake caliper offers gravel riders a completely new feeling of control thanks to improved modulation and a faster pressure point. And despite the flatter design, the system is quieter and easier to maintain than ever before.
Relaxed grip
The cross-section of the new DUAL CONTROL levers has a shape optimized for gravel and integrates seamlessly into the look of handlebars with flare. The levers are slightly rounded, the transition from handlebar to grip is somewhat smoother and offers a larger gripping surface to reduce the pressure on the hands. Thanks to the increased comfort, a day trip can be a little longer.
Wireless Clever
The cockpit offers a wireless and gravel-optimized look thanks to the GRX DI2. The slightly raised grips have a ribbed surface and the brake levers with non-slip coating ensure an absolutely secure grip - no matter how wild the ride. Cables with an even smaller diameter establish a direct connection between the battery and the rear derailleur or front derailleur. This eliminates the need for contact points and simplifies the entire bike set-up. In addition, the central integrated battery is easier to charge and remains safely protected even on the roughest roads, trails or the most remote paths.
Connect with your accessories
Another decisive advantage of the electronic shifting system is the ability to connect to additional shift buttons, which the new DI2 system makes possible. With the help of a second Shimano shifter, which can be mounted on the top or bottom of the handlebars or on an AERO handlebar riders no longer have to take their hands off the handlebars to shift gears and can concentrate fully on their performance. Just like the third button on the GRX DI2 DUAL Control levers, these secondary switches can perform different functions, such as shifting the rear derailleur or front derailleur, controlling compatible lights and GPS devices or as a lap counter during training.
