Description
The chain transmits power from the chainring to the sprocket of the rear hub. It is exposed to extreme loads and weather conditions. Chains elongate at different rates depending on the conditions of use, but each one needs to be replaced sooner or later. Timely replacement of the chain is the only way to protect chainrings and sprockets from excessive wear. To get the best possible functional performance of the Shimano HyperDrive system, it is important to ride original Shimano HG chains(the latter only with DURA-ACE).

unique new asymmetrical design. When mounting
therefore, the running direction must be observed. The specially shaped tabs
optimize the engagement on the sprocket and lead to even smoother
shifting even under load. To save weight, these
