This means that an optimally suitable system is available for every bike and for every discipline.
Hollowtech II works with 24 mm axles or bearings. After analyzing all factors and conducting tests, we decided to use 24 mm axles and bearings. This provides the greatest possible balance of rotational efficiency, stiffness, load capacity, tightness and weight with proven Shimano quality.
- 14 g lighter than SM-BB6700 yet just as durable as its predecessor
- Smooth running than SM-BB6700 (50% less friction)
- compatible with Dura Ace: FC-9000, Ultegra: FC-6800, Others: FC-CX70

Zu Funktion und Haltbarkeit kann ich an dieser Stelle leider noch nichts sagen, aber das Lager an sich macht einen recht soliden Eindruck. Lediglich die innere Lagerschale aus Kunststoff könnte eventuell eine Schwachstelle darstellen, ist aber wohl dem unschlagbar günstigen Preis geschuldet und geht somit vollkommen in Ordnung.
