Description
Freedom starts at the foot: Previous studies have shown that releasing the axial rotation of clipless pedals by 10° can reduce the potential for overuse injuries to the knees - this assumption was investigated as part of a master's thesis and the 502 active system pedal for trekking cyclists was developed on this basis: the first active pedal on the market for a knee-friendly, ergonomic foot position. The slightly concave and outwardly rotated pedal surface enables an ergonomic position on the pedal and at the same time generates enormous grip.
Four different axle lengths ensure a physiologically natural foot position on the pedal. This prevents one-sided strain - especially in the case of fibula head syndrome.
