Description
The perfect fit, for a bicycle grip, is crucial for comfort and grip safety. The grip width is the measurement from the tip of the middle finger to the crook of the thumb. This is because it is exactly how you enclose the grip. Grip sizes vary in diameter, length and shape.
While "Innerbarends®" bring the hands inwards and thus improve aerodynamics on long and straight stretches, the classic barends of the "Stuby" grips have the advantage that when going uphill, more power can be put on the pedal by pulling on the outside of the handlebar.
This is just as true in the cradle as it is in a seated position. Still, even on long and straight stretches, the strain on the hand, as well as the shoulder and neck, can be altered and reduced by gripping the bar ends.
