The Thomson 35 mm X4 is based on a proven design. It features a traditional fork clamp that is shaped to save weight and be knee friendly. X4 is the absolute best combination of strength and weight. Thomson stems are the strongest in the industry, that means enduro and downhill riders can run Thomson with confidence. This stem is forged from AL7050 where every surface is machined. The front clamp plate is forged from AL6066. It's built and tested to the same standards as aerospace parts, and it's the best stem for mountain biking.
