Wire-wound tire

TR - Tubeless Ready
The acronym TR stands for Tubeless Ready. With these coats, you have the choice of riding with or without a tube. Tubular tire
In tubular tires, an inner tube is sewn directly into the tire and glued to special rims. This variant is mainly used in road cycling. Many professionals still rely on the system, the reason for which is supposed to be a particularly smooth rolling and cornering behavior. However, a modern folding tyre is in no way inferior to a tubular tyre in terms of rolling resistance. A clear advantage of the system is that the tire does not jump off the rim in case of a flat tire. Thus, the cyclist can roll out without danger and in the race even cover a few meters until the material truck is on site. What to look for when buying a new bicycle tire?
Buying a new bike tire can become a real science. There are many parameters to consider and a huge selection of different manufacturers and types. However, some things your bike will dictate on its own. First you should determine for which bike category you are looking for a new tire. Up to this point, the choice is very simple: Do you have a mountain bike, a road bike, a touring bike or a city bike? Within the individual categories it comes to the fine selection. Here, the terrain you ride on most often influences the choice of the right tyre. A small rule of thumb you can remember. The rougher the terrain, the rougher the tire can be to guarantee the best possible grip. If you are mostly on asphalt and need good running properties, the tire should be less profiled.
The decision of the tire size is also dictated by the existing wheels. Here, in most cases, the decision is made between 26, 27.5, 28 and 29 inches. However, it is not only the diameter of the tires that counts, the width is also important. Depending on the type of bike, your bike has more or less clearance, i.e. space for tires with different widths. Bike inner tubes have different valves, but they don't come into contact with the casing, so they don't matter when buying a bike tire! The valves do need to match the rim though, so they can be put through the hole!
