Trickstuff Eccentric - bottom bracket black
Description
Tr!ckstuff wouldn't be Tr!ckstuff without such cream parts as the Eccentric. This is the first and world's only eccentric bottom bracket that mounts in all-normal BSA-bottom bracket shells and accepts any conventional 24-millimeter bottom bracket shaft (e.g. Shimano Hollowtech II and many others). It is used for stepless adjustment of the chain tension on singlespeeders or hub geared bikes (e.g. Rohloff) and eliminates the need for chain tensioners or adjustable dropouts. It is made of 7075 T6 aluminum at only 216 g weight. (Adjustment requires the EX toolfrom Trickstuff)
- 2 x aluminium bowls
- 2 x stainless steel threaded sleeves with BSA threads
- 2 x stainless steel ball bearings
- 2 x POM adapter sleeves
- 1 x Halflink
- 3 x spacers
Additional note from Trickstuff
- Not included with the EX tool
- Not compatible with BB30, square, tune six-pack shafts
- On conventional triple mountain bike cranks, the sockets for mounting the small chainring collide with the outer contour of the eccentric housing
- Remedy: use single cranks (e.g. Shimano Alfine or similar) or dual road bike cranks or current dual or single MTB race cranks or file off the sockets
