The lightweight version of our EWS-proven tread, the Mazza Trail embodies gravity-tuned grip, reliability and predictable trail feel with a construction that turns faster and pushes the throttle over key sections and rollers. The ultimate all-mountain tire for riders who enjoy going uphill before going downhill.
When cornering or gripping rock faces off camber, progressive siping at the shoulders varies the edges of the tread to balance a responsive feel on the trail with tenacious grip and no instability - stuck, controlled and predictable. On climbs, the Mazza digs in with ramped leading edges that come into their own on rollers and technical rocky cruxes alike. In between, the voracious spacing gobbles up and removes loose, loamy soil and sticky mud.
Graphene-4C- Compound
Rubber enriched with Graphene in a graduated pattern of four compounds across the rolling strip and shoulders. Two stabilizing base compounds increase puncture resistance and durability while providing a foundation for climbing, braking and cornering loads. The trail-side compounds reduce rolling resistance, increase traction and ensure a grippy ride in serpentines and off-camber sections, whether wet or dry.
Carcass Cyclocross 120 TPI Nylon
It's the highest number of our Cyclocross lines, because it means our cross racing is even more morbid and long-lasting. The durable nylon threads attached to the corse are close at hand, while the relatively high number of threads reduces resistance to turning and maintains brake feel and dampens vibrations.
