Description

 

The reinforced XC racing tire for dry conditions + mixed terrain

Sidewall reinforcement, fast rolling center tread, aggressive cornering and an extremely durable construction - this is the tire for XC trails that mix tough terrain with root systems, rocks and puncture-causing trail debris. The Mezcal XC Trail is built for speed, where you won't lose air just because you take a hit in the sidewall.

The continuous centerline features staggered siping extensions to multiply the number of edges that propel you up the trail, and the rear sipes on the shoulder knobs are angled to allow for fast cornering on hard, slippery surfaces. When climbing, cornering or descending, no tire is better suited than the Mezcal.

Graphene-4C- Compound
Rubber enriched with Graphene in a graduated pattern of four compounds across the rolling strip and shoulders. Two stabilizing base compounds increase puncture resistance and create a foundation for climbing, braking and cornering loads. The trail-side compounds reduce rolling resistance, increase traction and ensure a grippy ride in serpentines and off-camber sections, whether wet or dry. 

XC-Trail TLR- reinforced 120- TPI casing
The XC-Race TLR is a reinforced racing casing and combines a durable, supple 120 TPI nylon construction with additional protection on the sidewalls. Responsiveness, cushioned chatter and smooth trail feel with a little extra puncture protection - when XC gets dicey, the XC-Trail TLR goes off.
